Conway Springs Schools

Students attend schools in the 356 Unified School District in Conway Springs. Conway Springs has historically had a strong athletic program, with 7 3A State football championships since 1998. Conway offers a variety of activities including band, scholar’s bowl, FCCLA, and NHS. Conway Springs has received several Governor’s Achievement Awards, for schools in the top 5% of math and reading state assessments.

Conway Springs Transportation

Conway is under 40 minutes from downtown Wichita. Wellington is a quick 30 minute southeast drive from Conway. Conway Springs is located in-between highways KS-42 and US-160.

Conway Springs– History

Conway Springs was founded in 1884. By 1909, the townspeople realized they had the best water in the United States. People from all over the country came to drink and bathe in these waters.

The present Spring House was completely refurbished and rebuilt in 1999. It is located in the city park where visitors can still see the flowing waters.
